Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients. Verify prescribed treatment dose before treatment, verify fields to be treated and angles to be used. Maintain constant visual and intercom contact with the patient during treatment to assure patient remains in the proper position. Observe patient for unusual reaction and report any abnormal conditions to the radiation oncologist. Chart treatment details in the patient's medical record. Provides verification films on each patient treated. Graduate of an accredited school of radiation therapy technology Certification in Radiation Therapy Technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Preferred: BS degree in related field
