Key Responsibilities\n In your role as an LCSW, you will engage in a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
\Implementing various therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to the unique needs and preferences of clients. \Maintaining accurate and confidential clinical records in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and organizational standards, ensuring that all documentation is conducted timely and efficiently. \Collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, to coordinate patient care and optimize treatment outcomes. \Participating in regular case consultations and peer review meetings, fostering a culture of continual learning and improvement in therapy practices. \Educating clients and their families about mental health issues, effective treatment options, and available community resources, thereby enhancing their understanding and engagement in the recovery process. \Staying up-to-date with the latest research developments within the mental health field, incorporating new knowledge into practice to improve therapeutic efficacy. \Patient Population / Client Focus\n You will primarily work with clients experiencing mental health challenges related to substance use and addiction, requiring a tailored therapeutic approach that respects their unique backgrounds and experiences. By providing support and guidance during their detox process, you will help empower them to achieve better mental health and achieve their goals for sobriety and wellness.
A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution. \A valid and unrestricted LCSW license to practice in California. \Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster meaningful relationships with clients and team members. \Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills that contribute to effective patient care. \Preferred Experience\n Experience working within detox or rehabilitation settings and familiarity with community resources for substance use disorder treatment would be advantageous. Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and experience in managing a diverse caseload will further enhance your effectiveness in this role.
