Hospital Chaplain (Part-Time

During a hospital stay, the Chaplin provides spiritual care and guidance to patients, families and staff.In this role, you will coordinate communication between patient/family and community clergy as needed. You will also attend monthly spiritual care meetings.Within the department, you are required to serve as on-call chaplain throughout each month.REQUIREMENTSMaster’s degree in related field required or working towards such degree4 units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) for full time positions, 2 units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) for part time positionsCandidates with 2 or more years experience as a chaplain within the healthcare field may be considered for contingent rolesPREFERRED REQUIREMENTS2 years as a chaplain in a healthcare related fieldAPC or NACC or equivalentProMedica is a mission-driven, not-for-profit health care organization headquartered in Toledo, Ohio.
