As a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Bicycle Patrol in Bridgewater, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will conduct routine foot and bike patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to shoppers, tenants, and visitors. You will use computer or tablet technology to document activities and communicate observations while supporting a welcoming environment. Position Type: Part Time
Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
Assist with access control, traffic flow, and crowd management during busy shopping periods, events, and/or emergencies.
A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
