Provides pre-hospital Advanced Life Support Care as prescribed by Departmental and Hospital policies and procedures as well as the New Jersey State Department of Health MICU regulations.

Status: Full Time

Shift: Variable

Conducts thorough patient assessments, delivers appropriate pre-hospital care, and continuously evaluates patient condition and treatment effectiveness.

Communicates clearly with physicians, team members, patients, and families, including delivering accurate verbal reports and coordinating emergency personnel.

Completes accurate documentation, participates in training, quality improvement, and professional development, and supports team operations and organizational standards.

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Emergency Vehicle Driver Training Course (CEVO or equivalent)

Ability to lift, move and carry patients as required to provide pre-hospital emergency care.

Demonstrated communication/writing skills.

Hazardous Material Training/Operations (Level I N.State Police Office of Emergency Management)

Incident Command System Training/NJ State Police, Office of Emergency Management

Both Hazardous Material Training and Incident Command System Training CEVO must be completed within 4 months of hire date.
