Our work environment encourages open communication and a team-oriented approach, fostering a culture of support and shared success.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with a variety of orthopedic diagnoses to determine functional limitations and rehabilitation needs.Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation to facilitate recovery.Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs, injury prevention strategies, and rehabilitation techniques to promote sustained recovery.Maintain precise and compliant patient records, documenting evaluation findings, treatment sessions, and patient progress in accordance with healthcare regulations.Engage in regular case discussions and collaborative meetings with the healthcare team to ensure seamless and coordinated care for patients.Patient Population / Client FocusYou will be working primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic conditions that affect mobility. This includes elderly clients with age-related musculoskeletal issues as well as individuals seeking rehabilitation after trauma. Your role is pivotal in helping these patients regain function and improve their quality of life in the comfort of their homes.QualificationsDoctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited institution.Possession of an active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Florida.A minimum of 3 years of experience in physical therapy, particularly in orthopedic outpatient settings.Proficiency in utilizing electronic health records systems for managing patient data and documentation.Background in using advanced therapeutic modalities and techniques relevant to orthopedic rehabilitation.Compensation and BenefitsBodywise Physical Therapy LLC offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
