The company is looking for an energetic Project Manager to plan and execute activities for new product development. This position will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered within scope, on-time, and within budget. This role is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota and require travel to our office in Asia and reports to the Vice President, Research and Development.

Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Assist in defining project scope and objectives

Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources (internal and external to department and company) in an effective and efficient manner

Develop and manage detailed project schedules and work plans

Track project costs to meet budget

Perform risk management to minimize project risks

Report project status on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress

Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution

Measure and report project performance to identify areas for improvement

Experience building high quality products in China.

• Working experience in engineering or product development environment
• Ability to manage complex projects to develop ecosystems of hardware and systems
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in business or a technical field
• 5+ years of project management and related experience
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or other certification strongly preferred
• Nice to have speaking Mandarin

Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices

Experience managing projects through the full life cycle

Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
