Certified Nurse AssistantRoss Professional Services, LLC (RPS) is an employment, technical support and integrated security services company located in Washington DC. We provide professional support and operations to the District of Columbia and Federal government nationwide. RPS is a government contractor, in which our routine work consists of providing professional support, technical writers, information technology support, and other support for our government clients throughout the United States and District of Columbia. We are seeking the position below under our contract with Maxim.Location: Various DC LocationsShifts Options: 3pm-11:30pm or 11pm-7:30amDays: Monday – FridayDuration: ASAP – plus multiple option yearsHourly Rate: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour = (health/dental/life insurance coverage, paid federal holidays, accrued vacation options)COVID News: While onsite, all personnel onsite will adhere to CDC guidelines to include social distancing, wear a face covering, washing hands, etc.Maxim provides services and supports to eligible adults, children and their families for the prevention, intervention and treatment of mental health, along with substance use disorders. Maxim operates critical Behavioral Health Programs which includes Saint Elizabeth's Hospital (SEH) which is a 292 bed Adult in Patient Acute Care Mental Health Hospital, located at 1100 Alabama Avenue, SE, Washington, DC 20032. Maxim also operates a Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP) a Twenty-Four Hour/Seven Days a Week facility located on the old DC General Campus located at 1905 E Street SE, Building #14, and Washington, DC 20003; Maxim also operates The Assessment Referral Center (ARC) 73 P Street, NE Washington, DC 20002; and Urgent Care Clinic 35 K Street, NE Washington DC 20002.Credentialing RequirementsDC CNA License2 Professional ReferencesTB Test within 12mosBLS cardRecent Flu shotUrinalysis (10 panel)Cleared Background Check, including fingerprinting including FBI checkPrior experience in behavioral health/psychProof of Flu and COVID vaccinationsRequirementsThe CNA shall:Possess a current DC Certificate as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA); Possess a current Basic Care Life Support (BCLS) Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation card with valid expiration date;Possess a high school diploma or GED certificate with proof of completion of a basic Nursing assistant course consistent with the District of Columbia's certification requirements or completion of a state examination including clinical requirements.Possess knowledge and skill in taking Patients' vital signs, temperature, pulse and respiration and possess knowledge and skill in providing complete up-to-date report of health status as needed on assigned Patients. Consistently utilize the principles of the recovery model when engaging Patients. Report behavior and changes in the medical condition of Patients; Complete all assignments on shift assignment sheet accurately and properly document them during the Tour of Duty.Work with assigned Patients on appropriate Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and room maintenance.Complete all required nursing documentation according to policy.Participate in orientation and attend other Mandatory In-service Training Programs as assigned by Maxim. Be able to adequately navigate the Maxim computerized Medical Record System.
