Talent Acquisition SpecialistWe are currently seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead the full-cycle recruiting process for both Morgan Hill and Fairfield, CA locations. The incumbent will be responsible for creatively sourcing candidates and implementing staffing strategies to provide a positive candidate experience while responding to business hiring needs.The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a key role within the Human Resources team and will partner cross-functionally with other departments regarding their hiring, onboarding, and retention efforts.Contract 4-6 months with potential to convert.35-40/hourResponsibilitiesAccountable for the day-to-day recruiting efforts, ensuring that requisitions are filled timely and with appropriately matched candidates.Partner with managers to understand their business and hiring needs in order to create effective recruiting strategiesLead requisition intake meetings with hiring managers to capture all the necessary information on the job description and requirements for the positionCreate new job descriptions and process revision updates on existing job descriptions as neededCreate an overall recruiting strategy for the organization and develop/maintain a talent pipeline using tactical recruiting methods, sourcing techniques, and networkingCollaborate with marketing to create branding materials and strategyResearch and evaluate current market trends in order to prepare and negotiate competitive employment offers; ensures candidates meet the minimum job requirements per job descriptionProvide internal and external candidates updates on their candidacy and demonstrate excellent communication between candidates and the companyHost interview debriefs with hiring managers in order to finalize hiring decisionsProvide hiring managers with timely updates of candidate's offer decision and status of pre-employment activities (i.e. company agreements, background check, drug screening)Partners with HR Generalists to move candidates into onboarding process to complete the hireMaintain and update applicant tracking system and prepare metrics and status reports as neededQualificationsEducation/ExperienceBachelor's Degree with at least 4 years related experience sourcing and/or recruiting candidates. Experience sourcing Manufacturing and Operations roles preferred.Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesExpert knowledge in staffing strategies including sourcing, recruitment, interviewing and general hiring practicesStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with managers and candidatesMust be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize workRequires experience with sourcing through social networking tools and using creative sourcing methodologiesExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and become a trusted partner to hiring managers and candidatesEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled
