Snowbird is a unique resort with distinct summer and winter seasons and offers full-time, part-time and seasonal positions.**TITLE:** Room Attendant**LOCATION:** Cliff Lodge at Snowbird**STATUS:** Full-time, Regular**SCHEDULE:** *8:00 am to 4:00 pm** *Pay: $19.50** *Specific Shift: Any day of the week, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (or until job is complete).** *Weekend and holiday work required.***SUMMARY**As a Room Attendant for the housekeeping team at the Cliff Lodge you will perform cleaning duties to ensure clean, orderly, attractive hotel rooms. You will also assist other housekeepers as necessary to complete cleaning of the hotel rooms in a timely manner.**WHAT YOU’LL DO*** Clean guest rooms including making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming, cleaning mirrors, emptying trash, scrubbing toilets, showers, sinks and floors with occasional condo kitchen cleaning.* Maintain and clean housekeeping closets.* Perform other duties assigned by housekeeping director/supervisor.**WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE*** High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.* 6 months of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence.* Demonstrate basic competency in reading, writing, speaking, simple arithmetic and interpersonal relations.* Must be reliable, mature, and able to work with minimal supervision.* Requires some exercise of judgment within policy guidelines and without supervisory approval.* WORK SCHEDULE*** Specific Shift: Any day of the week, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (or until job complete).* Weekend and holiday work required.**WORKING CONDITIONS*** Must be prepared to stay overnight, if necessary, on occasional times of road closures.* May experience unusual stress from continual work with public, winter conditions, snow night requirements and commuting to/from Snowbird.* Daily work with cleaning chemicals can present some hazards and must use care with chemicals.* WHY WORK HERE*** Ski pass and comp ticket benefits* Discounts at Snowbird eateries, retail shops, mountain school, lodging and daycare for employees* Available medical, dental, vision and accident insurance – benefits are available based on position and are subject to change* 401k* Discounts with Powdr partners* Free transportation to work: UTA Bus, Rideshare Vans and, Employee Shuttles.*We require all candidates that receive and accept employment offers to complete a background check before being hired and comply with our professional appearance, drug & alcohol, and employee conduct policies.*Further, we stand for diversity of thought, background, race, sexual orientation, gender and belief.
