You'll have the opportunity to get to know your patients, help them understand what's happening with their oral health, and work closely with our doctors to provide thoughtful, individualized care.Patient education is a major part of how Golden Peak practices dentistry. We use clinical photos, conversations, and comprehensive exams to help patients understand their options and make informed decisions about their health.ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive preventive and periodontal hygiene careComplete periodontal assessments and chartingPerform prophylaxis and scaling and root planing as appropriateTake diagnostic dental x-raysEducate patients about periodontal health, prevention, and home careDiscuss the connection between oral health and overall healthBuild long-term relationships with patientsIdentify clinical concerns and collaborate with the doctors on comprehensive careMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentationWork closely with our assistants, doctors, and front office teamHelp create a comfortable, positive patient experienceRequirementsActive Colorado Dental Hygienist license, or eligibility for licensureCurrent CPR/BLS certificationStrong patient communication and education skillsCommitment to thorough, high-quality careTeam-oriented and dependableOrganized and attentive to detailComfortable learning and using modern dental technologyExperience with Open Dental, Dentrix, or similar software is helpfulNew graduates are welcome.
