Title: Engineer, Software - 122910

Onsite/Remote: Onsite Position

As a Engineer, Software for John Deere Research & Development Center located in East Moline, IL , you will:

Develop Gen5 display software using C++ and Qt/QML in an embedded Linux environment

Design, develop, and maintain Model-Based Software Design (MBSD) solutions utilizing MATLAB/Simulink for automation and embedded functionalities based on established architecture and design specifications.

Participate in code reviews, testing, and software integration

Experience with C or C++, or MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow.

Exposure to embedded Linux or real-time systems

Experience with embedded Linux, real-time systems, or distributed systems

Proficiency in Qt/QML, Python, or MATLAB/Simulink

Internship or EDP experience in embedded software development

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field
