Dosimetrist (Part Time)

MercyOne Clinton Medical Center, a Catholic, not‑for‑profit community health system, is hiring a part‑time Radiation Therapist to work day shift (Per Diem). As a Radiation Therapist you will assist the Radiation Oncologist in preparing patients for radiation therapy treatments, supervise/direction by physics and oncologist, administer treatments, and document dosages. Patients are adults to geriatric.

Assist the Radiation Oncologist in preparing patients for radiation therapy treatments.

Under supervision of the radiation physicist and oncologist, administer radiation therapy treatments.

Document daily logs of the correct dosages utilized.

Part time, day shift, per diem (PRN). American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification (T).

Iowa Department of Public Health Permit to Practice.

Knowledge of basic patient care skills, operation of oxygen equipment, radiation therapy treatment equipment, record and verify system, Linear Accelerator Unit, simulation and block preparation skills.
