Key Qualifications (ER Nurse Requirements)
Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room (ED/ER) nursing experience required
Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN License accepted
Diploma of Nursing required; Experience with high-acuity adult cardiac and internal medicine patients preferred
Ability to provide age- and culturally-specific patient care and education
Responsibilities (Emergency Department RN)
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for individuals and groups in the Emergency Department
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including emergency physicians, trauma surgeons, and allied health staff
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ANA code of ethics and hospital policies
Adapt to change in a fast-paced ER environment and contribute to continuous quality improvement
Work in a renowned 33-bed Emergency Department with diverse clinical exposure
