RN L&D - Night Shift

Registered Nurse Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum

Schedule: Nights, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (7:00 pm 7:00 am)

Assignment Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of RN experience

Current BLS, FHM, NRP certifications

Experience with Epic EMR

Community hospital L&D experience preferred

Travel experience required

No pending licenses accepted

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive care to patients during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases.

Assist with vaginal births and C-sections, including scrubbing and circulating as needed.

Conduct fetal monitoring, identify and manage abnormal fetal heart patterns.

Provide care for neonates, including basic assessments and phototherapy.

Support postpartum recovery and educate patients on breastfeeding and newborn care.

Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
