A Cardiovascular Sonographer is responsible for performing of echocardiograms, exercise and pharmacological stress echocardiograms, and transesophageal echocardiograms. assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served. They perform clerical duties associated with cardiovascular procedures. The sonographer assumes responsibility for standards of practice and quality of care and promotes customer service initiatives. The Lead Sonographer is also responsible for maintaining daily flow of patients through department and coordinating schedules.
High School Graduate / GED
~(RDCS) Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, or (RCS) Registered Cardiac Sonographer must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
