Finance Attorney

A well-established regional law firm with more than 120 attorneys is seeking a Finance Attorney to join its growing transactional practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level attorney who wants to build a diverse finance practice with meaningful client contact, sophisticated transactions, and long-term growth potential within a collaborative regional platform.

The attorney will represent banks, financial institutions, borrowers, and other business clients in a broad range of financing transactions, including:

Asset-based lending

Commercial lending and secured finance

Public/private infrastructure financings

Loan documentation and transaction structuring

Drafting and negotiating credit agreements, security documents, guarantees, and related financing documents

Advising lenders and borrowers throughout the lifecycle of complex financing transactions

Depending on experience, the attorney may also work on:

Municipal and tax-exempt financings

New Markets Tax Credit transactions

Low-Income Housing Tax Credit transactions

Historic Tax Credit transactions

Other tax-advantaged or public finance matters

Sophisticated finance work with a strong regional client base

Immediate and meaningful client interaction

Exposure to a diverse mix of lending and financing transactions

Opportunity to develop a specialized long-term finance practice

Hybrid work flexibility

Compensation will depend on seniority, financing background, credentials, and overall fit.

Office Options

24+ years of substantive finance experience

Experience representing banks or other financial institutions in complex financings

Background in commercial lending, secured finance, or asset-based lending

Experience in a midsize or large law firm environment

Exposure to healthcare, nonprofit, infrastructure, or public finance transactions is highly desirable

Municipal finance, tax-exempt finance, or tax credit experience is a plus

Strong drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills

Excellent academic credentials
