Purchasing Buyer, Senior

The Senior Buyer will assure compliance with company policies, applicable government regulations and laws and the higher of ethical standards while establishing sources for quality conforming materials and services with competitive pricing and timely deliveries. They will continually seek new and alternative ideas, products, and materials whose adoption might improve company efficiency and profitability. Minimum of five years progressively responsible purchasing related experiences in a manufacturing environment.
~ Immediate knowledge level of purchasing principles, computer techniques and manufacturing processes required.
Advanced Microsoft Excel Experience.
Analyze and process inventory and non-inventory (sometimes referred to as "Non-Production") requisitions to determine the appropriate source of supply.
Perform purchase order administration to assure timely deliveries of products and services.
Conduct the appropriate level of price/cost analysis to obtain the most favorable economic purchase. This position will take the lead on non-inventory activities.
