Job Description Job Description Job Title: Hip Hop & Tap Instructor (All Ages)Description: The YMCA of Greater St Petersburg's Dance Academy is looking for qualified, reliable dance instructors in tap & hip hop for all ages & levels for our growing dance program. Y Dance Academy (YDA) is a large non-profit dance program offering classes in all genres, including an award winning competition team, technique classes, and a large end of year performance for all students. Students have the option of pursuing dance competitively or as a recreational passion.Requirements:Instructors must have previous experience teaching a variety of dance genres to all age levels.References are required and videos of past work preferred.Part-time schedule with afternoon availability during the week. Program day/time may be flexible around candidates' schedules.All instructors teach technique classes as well as choreograph for the end of year performance.Must be able to work independently, have excellent relationship building skills and a passion for teaching dance in a great work atmosphere.Pass a 10-panel urinalysis drug screenClear a Level 2 background check*Locations: The candidate will work at 1 of our 3 YMCA Greater St. Petersburg locations depending on schedulePay & Perks: Part-time, $18.00-$22.00/hour. org *Level 2 background clearance through DCF (Florida) required.
