Art Director# Art DirectorHot Job## OverviewSalary Range$90,000.00 - $100,000.00 Salary/yearPosition TypeFull Time## Art DirectorCommunications Strategy Group (CSG), an intent marketing agency based in Denver, Colorado, is seeking art director candidates to shape the visual direction of creative work across our client portfolio, partnering with fellow designers, writers and strategists to produce work that is conceptually strong and craft-driven.Roles and Responsibilities**We're looking for an art director who brings both craft and command, someone who can lead the visual direction of a campaign from brief to production and make it look inevitable. This is a role for someone who has agency experience and knows how to move fast, give feedback generously and maintain an uncompromising visual standard across channels. We're a collaborative agency where art directors have real creative ownership, not just production support. Art Directors:*** Lead visual concepting and design direction across brand, digital and campaign work* Partner closely with copywriters and strategists from early concepting through final delivery* Present and defend creative work to internal teams and clients with clarity and confidence* Coach and mentor fellow creatives, providing consistent creative feedback and direction* Maintain visual consistency across multi-channel deliverables including social, digital, web, video and print* Own projects end-to-end with minimal oversight, flagging the right things at the right moments* Contribute to a culture of craft, curiosity and creative ambition within the team## Art Director**Qualifications:*** 4-6 years of experience in an agency environment (advertising, brand or integrated creative agency)* A portfolio that demonstrates strong conceptual thinking alongside refined design execution* Familiarity with brand identity systems and design system thinking* Obsessive attention to detail in typography, spacing and color at every scale* The ability to work autonomously and self-direct through ambiguity without losing momentum* Fluency in the full Adobe Creative Suite; motion and video skills are a plus* Proven experience collaborating with writers and brand strategists on integrated campaigns* Ability to juggle multiple projects, clients and feedback loops without losing the thread* A point of view, aesthetic or strategic, and the confidence to articulate it*Nice to haves** Video and animation experience including motion concepting, After Effects or post-production oversight* Proficiency in Figma and/or Canva for design collaboration, UX and presentation* Background in experiential design or events including spatial thinking, environmental graphics and live activations* Resourcing and managing vendors for print and event assets* Exposure to social-first creative or performance marketing environmentsSalary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience.
