Certified Medical Assistant

Pay Range: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour

This is a non-exempt position that is paid by the hour.

The Certified Medical Assistant assists with clinical operations at our Redmond location to keep patient flow smooth and efficient while providing a high level of patient care. This role works with patients of all ages and assists with rooming patients, collecting vitals, and performing point-of-care testing associated with asthma and allergy care. Our office maintains a supportive and efficient working environment with a 2:1 CMA to provider ratio. This structure ensures a balanced workload and allows for high-quality patient care.

Enter all data into the EMR system.

Responsible for patient education including but not limited to medications care planning, disease process understanding, environmental controls and device teaching. Document specific take home messages to the patient in the EMR system.

Take inventory of supplies and re-stock as needed. Current Washington State LPN or CMA license

Must have completed the 7 hours state mandated AIDS/HIV training program.

CPR/First aid for healthcare professionals card.

Washington state insured Medical Assistant certification or registration proof.

Comprehension of EMR/HER recordkeeping system for delivery of healthcare. Prior experience on Athena, Epic, GE or other system is required.

A history of working in an outpatient setting, preferably in asthma/allergy, ENT, pediatric, or dermatology specialty offices
