Hospital Phlebotomist, Full-Time

750 SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE ***

Demonstrates phlebotomy skills with speed, safety and accuracy on all patient types. Prioritizes, accessions, labels, and distributes specimens for testing to appropriate departments. Maintains appearance of work area with cleanliness and adequate supply stock.

High school diploma or equivalent. Phlebotomy expertise. Must provide own source of transportation for off-site collections. Previous clerical experience with telephone, fax machine, copier, and office computer software preferred.

Medical terminology course preferred.

2-3 years experience in a hospital/clinical laboratory environment (preferred) with experience in performing phlebotomy and specimen processing. Experience in working with neonates, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients.

Maintain evidence of personal auto insurance.

Required Physical and Environmental Demands
