About the Unit
The Med-Surg/Oncology Specialty Unit is a 12-bed unit that primarily serves medical-surgical patients while also caring for those receiving oncology treatments. This unit offers a well-rounded clinical experience, combining the fast-paced variety of med-surg nursing with the rewarding, relationship-based care of oncology. Nurses on this unit enjoy low patient ratios that allow for focused, quality care, and a fair every third weekend rotation that provides a healthy balance between work and personal time.
