Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pediatric Registered Nurse for our Seasonal Night Shift position. The ideal candidate will work in our Pediatric Step Down unit, providing care to a diverse group of pediatric patients. Our unit features 36 private rooms equipped with parent sleeping accommodations and a supportive healthcare team.

Responsibilities

Provide care to step-down pediatric patients, including those with high flow oxygen, spinal fusions, and chest tubes.

Administer medications and perform medical procedures such as NGTs, Foleys, TP Tubes, PIVs, and phlebotomy.

Monitor patient vitals and progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.

Assist in creating a positive and collaborative team environment, fostering open communication and teamwork.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 1 year of current Pediatric RN experience.

BLS and NRP certifications are required.

Experience with high flow oxygen, spinal fusion, and chest tubes is essential.

Prior experience with Meditech EMR is preferred.
