Duties Perform a wide range of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, hair extensions, and texturizing treatments using advanced techniques such as balayage or ombré.
Deliver specialized treatments.
Maintain strict sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and implements in accordance with health regulations.
Utilize salon software systems like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently.
Engage with clients through personalized consultations on hair care routines, color theory applications, and product recommendations to foster loyalty.
Upsell retail products such as hair care items or styling tools while ensuring excellent customer service at the front desk.
Qualifications Valid cosmetology or barbering license with comprehensive knowledge of current industry trends and techniques.
Experience working in a professional beauty environment with proficiency in hair coloring, styling, extensions, and nail care.
Strong understanding of sanitation practices and salon safety protocols.
Familiarity with salon management software like MINDBODY or similar platforms for scheduling and retail management.
Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members alike.
Ability to perform detailed work such as eyelash extensions or hair threading with precision.
Knowledge of retail math principles for upselling products confidently while maintaining customer satisfaction.
