Head of Events Marketing

Company Description Theatre Projects is an international team of designers and planners dedicated to shaping spaces where people and communities can share their stories. With over 1,800 venues completed in more than 80 countries, the firm supports projects across arts and entertainment, education, hospitality, sports, corporate events, and more.
Theatre Projects is looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team in Connecticut as a key player in shaping how Theatre Projects presents itself in business development and sales materials, on our website, and on social media. We’re looking for someone who would bring the full package to this role: exciting visual design, content creation with a dynamic voice, and solid writing chops.
The right person for our team will be a proficient visual designer with advanced skill in Adobe Creative Suite. They’ll have a great social media voice and writing skills; experience creating dynamic short-form videos for websites and social media platforms; and the ability to tailor their style to meet and progress the Theatre Projects brand.
This position will be located in our Connecticut office.
In general, the Marketing Manager is our website manager, social media content creator, sales and marketing collateral creator, and a member of the proposal-writing team.
5+ years of professional marketing experience showcasing a clean, sharp eye for detail in graphics and text
- Demonstrated excellence in graphic design, including advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Word template design)
- Experience supporting brand implementation or visual identity rollout
- Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress
- Experience with SEO and AEO best practices
- Experience with video and photography editing
Interest in or familiarity with architecture, theatre, performing arts, or design consulting environments
Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems and marketing coordination workflows
80,000 - $100,000 (depending on experience) with great benefits like no-cost-to-employee health, dental, and vision coverage.
