Job Summary

Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position in a hospital setting. This role involves providing acute care to diverse patient populations, including cardiac and stroke cases, in a fast-paced emergency department environment. The position starts on October 5, 2026, and concludes on January 4, 2027, with a schedule of 12-hour night shifts.

Job Details

Schedule: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications: Valid license to practice as a registered nurse; certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (AHA or ARC), Basic Life Support (AHA or ARC), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course, National Institute of Health Stroke Scale, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Trauma Nursing Core Course; two years of clinical experience in emergency or acute care; strong IV skills; and ability to work night shifts.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic medical records using EPIC system; proficiency in trauma and pediatric emergency procedures; experience in a high-volume ER setting.

Additional Information: The role involves involvement with triage, treatment, trauma bays, and monitoring with specialized equipment. Candidates may assist with lab draws, patient assessments, and coordination with physicians, RRTs, pharmacy, and security teams.

Float: Float rotation may be required.
