Construction Safety Laborer

As a Laborer, you'll support the successful completion of construction projects by assisting with site preparation, material handling, jobsite safety, and general construction activities.
Clean and maintain tools, equipment, materials, and work areas.
Load, unload, move, and stage materials, tools, and equipment.
Assist with setting up and dismantling ladders, scaffolding, and other temporary structures.
Lift, carry, and position construction materials and supplies as directed.
Assist with traffic control and other site logistics, as needed.
Support skilled trades and project teams with general labor tasks.
Follow all company safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned to support project needs.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Current member of the Laborers Union.
Basic understanding of construction practices, safety procedures, and quality standards.
Experience working around heavy equipment and performing grade checking is preferred.
Work Location, Environment & Travel Requirements

Work is performed primarily on active construction jobsites in varying weather conditions.
Safely climb ladders, scaffolding, and other elevated work surfaces. Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Safely use hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment.
Provides clear direction, sets expectations, holds others accountable, and develops team members through coaching and support.
