High acuity ICU Patient Ratio: 1:2 Float requirement to other ICUs and SDUs Epic experience required Preferred exp with PA catheters & balloon pumps No block scheduling requests please Shift: Manager can accommodate 3x12s or 4x12s CVICU Skills: Caring for post op CABG, valve replacement/repair, aortic dissection, IABP, PA Cath SICU Skills: General post op care for surgical recovery patients Transplant Recovery: Liver, heart, lungs, kidney, pancreas Experience with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Facility & Patient Care Details Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics Daily Census: 28 Number of Visits Per Day: - Number of Rooms: 33 Number of Beds: 32 Additional Unit Information Interdisciplinary Support: Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, Unit Secretary Patient Diagnoses: SICU is composed of cardiac surgery patients, transplant patients, general surgery, medicine overflow and cardiac overflow. Special Procedures/Unit Details: - Special Equipment: HARD STOP Manager noted they need transplant experience (liver, heart, lung, kidney/pancreas)- required #Tier2 Travel Compliance Facility does not accept local travelers. Must be over 65 miles (address on drivers license to site address) Must have 2 years experience in specialty for all locations. (Compact or LA license in hand upon submittal Allied Candidates booked with pending license - Candidate must apply for Allied Health licensure within 72 hours of signing Orientation held 5 days a week References: Not required for submission, however 2 Manager/Supervisor references will be required to obtain clearance to start contract.
