Head of Engineering and Project Management

The Green Badge Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) supports the Data Center Engineering organization by driving quality assurance processes, document management coordination, project tracking, and design review support across multiple projects.

This role works closely with Design Managers (DMs), Discipline Leads (DLs), Design Consultants, Construction teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure design deliverables meet established quality standards, timelines, and governance requirements.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and comfortable working across engineering, construction, and program management teams.

Design Quality Assurance & Reviews:

Support quality assurance reviews for design deliverables across multiple project phases including 30%, 60%, 90%, IFP/IFB and post milestones releases.
Identify missing deliverables, discrepancies, or quality gaps within design packages and elevate risks as needed.
Coordinate with Discipline Leads and Design Managers to resolve outstanding comments and approvals.
Assist with tracking design review statuses, approvals, and exceptions.

Project Coordination & Document Control:

Support project setup activities within approved systems of record.
Maintain project documentation, folder structures, templates, and standardized naming conventions.
Coordinate design package uploads and document distribution to internal and external stakeholders.
Assist with management of project collaboration platforms including document repositories and workflow tools.

Assist with management and maintenance of project tracking systems such as Smartsheet, Procore, ACC, or equivalent platforms.
Help maintain dashboards, trackers, logs, and automated workflows used for project execution and governance.
Participate in testing, rollout, and continuous improvement initiatives for new tools and processes.
Risk Management & Escalation Support:

Monitor project risks, overdue reviews, and workflow bottlenecks.
Escalate quality, schedule, or process concerns to leadership when appropriate.
Assist with audit preparation and quality compliance initiatives.

Partner with Design Engineering, Construction, and external consultants.
Contribute to process documentation, SOPs, training materials, and onboarding guides.
Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Project Management, or related field; 2+ years supporting engineering, construction, document control, or quality assurance processes.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience working with project management or document control systems.
Experience supporting data center, construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects.
Familiarity with design review workflows and milestone-based project delivery.
Experience with Smartsheet, Procore, ACC, Bluebeam, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
Understanding of document control principles and engineering deliverables.
Ability to analyze workflows and identify process improvement opportunities.
