HVAC/Electrician - (Full-Time)

Department: Assembly Team 4

The purpose of this role is to perform installations on various types of equipment. You will be fully qualified with an industrial background and have the ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical code specifications and blueprints. You will have a strong focus on safety, cost control and customer satisfaction when performing the duties of the position.

Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles, and installs electrical conduit/cable tray using such tools as a hacksaw, pipe threader, rules, and conduit benders.

Installation of cable glands. (Responsible for making final terminations on electrical equipment ranging from 24v control systems to 4160v medium -voltage systems Design layout and installation of electrical wiring based on job specification.

Observes the functioning of installed equipment or system to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement.

7+ years’ industrial electrical experience with direct industry experience.

Must be able to read and write English.

Experience in planning and executing complex installations with minimal supervision.

Installation of cable glands is highly preferred.

Relevant experience in the Gas compression and Gas processing industry preferred.

Strong understanding of P&ID and Electrical schematics.
