Job Title Travel RN – Emergency Department (Nights)

Location Silver City, NM | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care through the therapeutic application of the nursing process, collaborating with interdisciplinary health care team members across a designated patient group

Assess and interpret patient data to identify age-specific needs, applying principles of growth and development across the life span

Function in the role of primary RN across Triage, Main ED, and Fast Track areas

Maintain high standards of care and patient safety at all times, including when floated to other hospital units as directed by hospital leadership or the House Supervisor

Follow the guidance of the Charge Nurse in any assigned department when serving as a float resource

Required Qualifications

Current New Mexico or multi-state Registered Nurse (RN) license

BLS certification (AHA)

ACLS certification (AHA)

PALS certification (AHA)

TNCC certification

Minimum 2 years of RN experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

Emergency department and/or critical care nursing experience

At least one year of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
