Mammographer (Full-time), Radiology-Mammography

The Union Hospital Imaging Department is currently recruiting for a Full-Time Radiologic Technologist to work at the UH Breast Center.

Content level expert of radiographic equipment and knowledge and proficiency to troubleshoot.

Content level expert of radiology supported computer systems and CD burners.

Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures and quality control as defined by department guidelines.

Maintains compliance with local, state, and federal regulations in ACR and state licenses. Assists in the learning process of students and new staff in departmental procedures, quality control and radiation safety.

Demonstrates problem solving skills, acts as liaison OP Imaging department, clinicians, nursing, and ancillary departments to ensure customer satisfaction.

Mammography certified when applicable (achieved within two years of hire - when applicable)

candidates are required to obtain their Associates of Science degree (can be substituted within a related field), within three (3) years of their start date as outlined in the Education Agreement required to be signed as a condition of employment.

ARRT Mammography Registered if applicable - the successful completion of the Mammography Registration exam is a requirement for those performing mammography procedures. Hourly Pay Range: $32.77 - $52.43.
