EVENING! - Restaurant Server / Hostess / Host

Host Job Summary
The Host is the first and last impression of our restaurant. This role is responsible for creating a warm, welcoming experience for every guest while managing the flow of the dining room. Hosts greet guests, manage reservations and waitlists, coordinate seating with servers and managers, answer phones, and assist with maintaining a clean, organized front-of-house environment. A successful Host is friendly, professional, organized, and able to stay calm in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:

Welcome all guests with a friendly and genuine attitude.
Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating assignments efficiently.
Communicate table availability and guest needs with managers and service staff.
Answer phones, take reservations, and provide accurate information to guests.
Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the host stand, entrance, and lobby.
Assist with light side work and support the front-of-house team as needed.
Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
Qualifications:

Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude and professional appearance.
Dependable, punctual, and a strong team player.
Weekend, evening, and holiday availability needed
Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Comfortable working in a busy, high-energy environment.

A great Host keeps the restaurant organized, ensures guests feel welcomed from the moment they arrive, communicates effectively with the service team, and helps create a smooth dining experience for both guests and staff.
