Phlebotomist - Part Time - Needed Immediately

Job Overview Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 5215 N. California, Chicago, IL.
Schedule Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:30am-5:30pm; Wednesday: 10:00am-7:00pm.
Responsibilities Perform medical tests at the point of care to provide immediate results for clinical decision‑making.
Collect blood by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
Enter patient information accurately and promptly.
Process billing information and collect payments, when required.
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
Interpret and record results in compliance with established protocols.
Provide superior customer service to all patients.
Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
Travel to additional sites when needed.
Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience with pediatric and geriatric patients.
Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency.
Previous experience as a phlebotomist is required.
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
Reliable transportation and a clean driving record, if applicable.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Pay Range $17.75-$24.50 per hour. All job offers are based on a candidate’s skills, relevant experience, applicable degrees, certifications, internal equity and market data. PST’s may be eligible for a PST Incentive Plan with a quarterly bonus.

Casual, PRN & Part‑time employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only.
Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
