Must-Have:
All skills and certifications required.
Must be able to circulate.
Must be able to perform sterile vaginal exams.
Experience in large hospital settings is highly preferred.
Description:
The position is for a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse.
This role requires a minimum of two years' experience in Labor and Delivery.
The nurse will be responsible for providing care during labor and delivery, including circulating for C-sections and performing sterile vaginal exams.
Experience with high-risk deliveries and management of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns is essential.
The unit cares for a variety of patient diagnoses including preterm labor, hypertension, and diabetes.
The nurse will work night shifts and may be required to cover extra weekend shifts based on unit needs.
All scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered.
Travel pairs will not be considered for this position.
The ability to work six holidays within the contract term is mandatory.
Interdisciplinary support will be available, including IV teams and pharmacy services.
All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the given state.
