Job Overview A law firm seeks a Construction Litigation Attorney with expertise in representing design professionals, such as architects and engineers, in the Pacific Northwest or any US location. The role involves handling claims of professional negligence and contract disputes related to design changes.
Duties Represent design professionals in litigation involving contract claims and professional negligence.
Conduct pre-trial work, including motion practice and discovery.
Collaborate with expert witnesses and manage trial proceedings in various courts and arbitration.
Engage with insurance carriers and manage coverage issues.
Requirements Experience in construction law and litigation.
Familiarity with federal, state, or tribal court procedures.
Experience in a reputable law firm, with a preference for AmLaw 200 or Law360 400 firms.
A portable book of business valued at $350K is preferred.
Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
Certifications Licensed to practice law in the United States.
Skills Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
