Buyer - Part-Time Temporary

Our client, a leading organization in the industry, is seeking a Buyer II to join their team. As a Buyer II, you will be part of the procurement department supporting multiple business lines. The ideal candidate will demonstrate adaptability, analytical thinking, effective communication, and a customer-focused approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Part Time Buyer II

Schedule: Part time (3 days/week - 24 hours/week)

Purchases spot equipment, materials, chemicals, catalysts, and service requirements for various business lines.

Addresses invoice discrepancies and approves invoice payments, including additional freight costs.

Supports project or turnaround purchases and liaises with strategic buyers for potential bundling.

Experience in procurement, specifically in PtP Procure-to-Pay systems and processes.

Ability to manage purchase order maintenance and data wrangling tasks.

Knowledge of contract development and management.

Engagement with diverse projects and responsibilities.

Involvement in impactful procurement activities supporting organizational success.
