Developer/Programmer ( REMOTE)

Role Overview Design and implement competitive programming problems, reference solutions, checkers, and robust test suites that teach and evaluate AI systems. You will create unique problems not present on existing online judges, build Reinforcement Learning environments to assess model performance on complex algorithmic tasks, and produce well-documented C++ code used to validate multiple valid outputs and edge cases. No prior AI experience is required, domain expertise in competitive programming is the focus.
Create original competitive programming problems absent from existing online judges, and produce a working reference solution for each problem.
Build comprehensive test suites that cover edge cases, performance constraints, and validation criteria for Reinforcement Learning environments.
Evaluate and validate participant or model submissions against complex problem statements, including examples sourced from platforms like Codeforces.
Collaborate with the customer or product team to refine problem requirements and resolve ambiguous scenarios.
Write clear, maintainable C++ code to assess outputs and edge cases efficiently.
Document checker logic thoroughly and explain intricacies or edge cases in writing and verbally.
Stay current with competitive programming standards and incorporate best practices into checker and test development.
Expertise in competitive programming and coding problem analysis.
Advanced proficiency in C++ for implementing robust checker solutions, with strong attention to output validation and edge case handling.
Familiarity with competitive programming fundamentals and multiple valid-solution patterns.
Experience working independently in a remote, collaborative environment, and ability to meet tight deadlines while producing well-documented code.
Preferred: prior experience as a problem setter, tester, or checker on major competitive programming platforms.
