Description
Bodman’s Intellectual Property Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Patent Attorney to join our growing office in Grand Rapids.
Key Responsibilities
Drafting and prosecuting patent applications that are intricate to our clients’ global patent and IP strategies.
Conduct freedom-to-operate and landscape analysis and prepare patentability, invalidity, and non-infringement opinions.
Support IP-related litigation and transactional practices as part of our general practice firm.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
1 to 4 years of patent experience with a technical background in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Admission to the Michigan Bar, U.S. Patent Bar, and excellent academic credentials are required.
