Welder / Fabricator
Spaulding Mfg. is a growing manufacturing company focused on high-quality asphalt maintenance equipment and innovative fabrication solutions. We take pride in building durable, dependable equipment and are looking for a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team.
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Welder/Fabricator to assist with the fabrication, assembly, and repair of heavy equipment and custom steel components. The ideal candidate will have strong welding and fabrication skills, be able to read blueprints, and work independently while maintaining high-quality standards.
Perform MIG welding on steel components and assemblies
Fabricate and assemble structural steel and equipment components
Operate fabrication equipment including saws, grinders, torches, and drills
Ensure weld quality and maintain clean, accurate workmanship
Assist with fitting, layout, and final assembly of equipment
Work with the production team to meet project deadlines
5+ years of welding/fabrication experience required
Strong MIG welding skills required
Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and fabrication drawings
Experience using fabrication and shop tools
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a manufacturing environment
Experience with heavy equipment or trailer manufacturing
TIG or stick welding experience
Mechanical or hydraulic experience is a plus
Forklift experience
