Phlebotomist II

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client's medical facility in South Burlington, Vermont, US, 05403. This is a 3-month contract with the possibility of a contract opportunity that could convert into a full-time role, and it's a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Title: Phlebotomist II Location: Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00 am -6:00 pm

Ensure patient comfort and safety during the collection process.

Adhere to standardized procedures for waived testing, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of results

Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) as directed by healthcare providers.

Apply electrodes and monitor patients during the procedure to ensure quality tracings.

Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.

Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.

Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime

Burlington, address, At times they will be required to travel to S. Albans and Enosburgh, VT locations as well as travel as far as Brattleboro and Westminster locations. Burlington location and the shift will only be a half day

High school diploma or equivalent. Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.

Three years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.

Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
