Events take place mostly during the evenings and primarily on weekends. There may be daytime shifts occasionally. Evenings and weekends will be required. Academic Affairs

This team is also the on-site support during the full run of the event. Types of events include but are not limited to evening dinners, weddings, holiday parties, daytime retreats, board meetings, museum festivals, corporate galas, etc. Therefore, all staff members receive ongoing training and are expected to consistently contribute to creating exceptional, memorable, and inclusive experiences for our guests, partners, and the community.
Position requires near constant movement and lifting of tables, chairs, and other furniture. Responsibilities also include but are not limited to: providing museum guests & staff, caterers, and additional vendors with exceptional customer service; receiving ongoing training of museum policies and procedures through museum meetings and activities; Weekends and evenings availability REQUIRED. Previous event industry and customer service experience strongly preferred
