Job Summary:

Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in San Francisco, California. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating expertise in evidence-based practices, and managing a diverse range of patient conditions. The role requires a focus on thorough documentation, effective clinical procedures, patient advocacy, and working both independently and collaboratively within the healthcare team.

Job Details:

Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS, PALS, 2 years of experience in Emergency Department.

Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in an emergency room, familiarity with Epic electronic charting system, and community hospital experience.

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC.

Schedule: 3 x 12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with weekend rotation required.

Additional Information: Candidate must meet hospital-specific staffing, compliance, and onboarding requirements, including completing labs within 3-5 days of contract signing and submitting all documentation 10 days prior to start date. Prior charge nurse experience and trauma level certification are preferred.
