Software Engineer

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.

Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.As Software Engineer in the Space and Intelligence Systems business, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for design, development, and test of specialized solutions that are launched into space and considered by our customers to be national assets. We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences including embedded real-time operating systems (VxWorks, Integrity, PetaLinux) and C/C++, Java, and Python programming languages.

Ability to lead the software development process

Expertise in applying technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges in creative ways

Thorough knowledge of technology trends and willingness to champion new ideas and process improvements

Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation

Flexible schedules with every other Friday off work, if desired (9/80 schedule)
