Physical Therapy AssistantA Physical Therapy Assistant who provides coordinated physical therapy to patients of all age groups under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist.Seeking FT Home Health PTA in the Wichita area!Job QualificationsEducation: Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy assistant with an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy.Knowledge and SkillsTherapy skills as set forth in the Therapy Practice Act and other regulatory agenciesGood interpersonal skillsProof of Hepatitis profileTransportationReliable transportation. Valid and current auto liability insurance.Environmental and Working ConditionsWorks in a health care facility or patients residence in various conditions; possible exposure to blood and bodily fluids and infectious diseases; ability to work flexible schedule; ability to travel locally; some exposure to unpleasant weather.Physical and Mental EffortAbility to do heavy lifting, bending, pulling, pushing and standing. Prolonged standing and walking required. Requires working under some stressful conditions to meet deadlines and patient needs and to meet patient/family individualized psycho-social needs.
