Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step Down (HVTI) position at a major academic medical center in Cleveland, requiring at least 18 months of stepdown experience and Ohio or compact RN licensure.

Details

HVTI Step Down unit within a large hospital setting

Potential to float to other units caring for the same patient population

Rotating day/night shifts: 7:00 AM-7:30 PM and 7:00 PM-7:30 AM

Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts per week

Shift times may vary based on operational needs of the hospital

13-week contract

Requirements

Active OH RN license or compact state RN license currently in hand

Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required

Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in a stepdown specialty required

Minimum 18 months of recent stepdown experience required (travel experience accepted)

PCU/progressive care experience preferred

Two professional references required for consideration

Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; a passing score on both is required

Holiday coverage required — must be available to work at least every other holiday

Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months at any location within this health system; a minimum 6-month break is required before beginning another assignment at any of the system's locations
