Shore Outpatient Surgicenter, a well-established facility with 25 years of operation, is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to join their supportive team in Lakewood, Ocean County, New Jersey. This role offers a great working environment with low turnover and focuses exclusively on Urology and GI cases. The successful candidate will be responsible for the medical management of patients undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring high-quality care within a service-oriented setting.

Practice Info

Shore Outpatient Surgicenter is a high-quality, service-oriented environment for surgical procedures.
The facility has been open for 25 years, with many staff members working for more than 10 years.
The surgicenter runs 5 rooms (3 Urology and 2 GI).
Anesthesia staffing is 1:2 or 1:3.
Case assignments are Urology and GI cases only; no ortho, no spine.
Accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.
Responsibilities

Assist in the directing and coordinating of Activities in the Anesthesia Department
Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious ad/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
Pre-anesthesia assessment
Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
Induction, maintenance and emergence from anesthesia
Monitoring of the patients physiological condition
Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Compensation

Base: $475,000

M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
ECFMG and FLEX
Completion of approved Residency in Anesthesia
Currently licensed as a Physician
