Responsibilities What You’ll Do As A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant:
Conduct individual and/or group therapy sessions according to individual needs
Provide assistance to staff regarding concerns pertaining to occupational therapy and assist staff in maintaining open communication with parents concerning occupational therapy problems
Main accurate records of services provided for statistical and billing purposes
What you DON’T Have to Do As A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant:
Administrative stuff. You’ll benefit from our Administrative Support teams that take care of authorization specializations, scheduling, patient onboarding, credentialing, and recruiting so you can focus on doing what you do best – providing compassionate care!
You’ll have support from your Center Manager, Occupational Therapist, our Occupational Therapy Clinical Specialist, and our Director of Outpatient Therapies.
Required Skills Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Requirements
Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy
Current licensed certified occupational therapist assistant and registered with the American Occupational Therapy Association and licensed in applicable state
