SCHWING America is looking for an experienced 1st Shift Welder to join our manufacturing team. If you take pride in producing strong, clean welds and want a Monday–Friday day-shift schedule, this could be a great opportunity for you.

Our Welders perform precision welding on heavy equipment components while working from blueprints and established AWS and company quality standards.

Perform position welding on component parts according to prints and specifications.

Review daily production requirements with the Production Lead.

Perform grinding, deburring, and polishing to produce high-quality finished components.

Inspect completed work to ensure welds meet established quality standards.

Perform repair and re-welding according to applicable German DIN and AWS standards.

Perform field welding when required.

Identify and report safety, equipment, tooling, or quality concerns.

Use barcode scanners and computer systems to track production and labor.

Maintain required welding qualifications and certifications.

Technical degree or diploma in Welding required.

Qualified to AWS D1.Ability to pass SCHWING America welding tests and maintain welding certification through periodic testing.

Experience performing position welding.

Ability to consistently produce high-quality welds.

Basic computer skills.

Ability to work in a manufacturing environment throughout the scheduled shift.
